Existing Xero Organization Conversion Service Steps

This article outlines the steps required to convert data into an existing Xero organization. The process is similar to the standard conversion process, with the additional requirement of granting Jet Convert access to your Xero organization before the conversion can proceed.

Conversion Steps

  1. Prepare the Source File - Use the Pre-Conversion Checklist to ensure the file is ready and meets the conversion requirements.
  2. Start Your Conversion
  3. Select a Package - To learn which package would suit your requirements, refer to the article: Package Options
  4. Provide Access to the Online Source File (If Applicable) - If your accounting software is an online source, grant Jet Convert access so the data can be extracted for conversion.
  5. Provide Access to the Xero Organization - The conversion cannot proceed until the correct access has been provided.
  6. Provide Additional Information (If Required) - Some conversion packages or optional services may require additional details such as Premium package options or files that exceed standard package limits.
  7. Conversion Complete - Conversions are typically completed within up to 5 business days on receipt of all required information.  On completion, an email notification is sent that includes a custom Post-Conversion Action Checklist outlining the next steps for your Xero organization.
