How to Grant us Access to Your Online Accounting software - for United States

 

Source Accounting Software

QuickBooks Online

If you are a Practice:

1. Go to Settings > Your Company > Your Team > Add User
2. Add First Name = Jet , Last Name = Convert , Email = qbo@jetconvert.com > Next
3. On the Access to your Firm's QuickBooks option, grant Company Admin > Next
4. On the Client Access tab select all the client/s you want us to convert (next time just come in and tick the next client you want us to convert) > Save.

If you are a Business:

1. Click on the Settings button on the Top Right of your screen. Then select Manage Users.       
2. Select the Accountant Firms tab and select Invite   
3. First Name = Jet , Last Name = Convert , Email = qbo24@jetconvert.com > Save.

NOTE: The QBO subscription must be active, as we cannot convert cancelled or read-only subscriptions. If two Accountants are active, remove one in order to invite Jet Convert. Alternatively, ask your Accountant to add us to their QBO practice. For Simple Start Versions, please invite us as an Accountant. The conversion cannot commence until we have QBO access.

Existing Xero Organisation

• How to Invite us in Xero HQ (for multiple Xero entities):
  

1. Go to Staff, then click Invite staff.
   
2. Enter the name Jet Convert and email address conversions@jetconvert.com, then click Next. 
   
3. Select the Xero HQ role as Standard.
   
4. Click Invite to Xero HQ.
   
5. Assign Clients - select the clients you wish us to convert then select Next.
   
6. Select permissions:
   
7. Change Client access to Edit.
   
8. Change Xero Organization Role to Advisor.
   
9. Tick against Manage Users access then select Save (please leave the Notify box ticked so Xero sends us an email and saves you needing to email us that you have updated our access). 
   

United States Businesses

1. How to Invite us from the Xero Organization:
   

1. Click on the organization name, select Settings, then click Users.
   
2. Click Invite a user.
   
3. Enter the name Jet Convert and email address conversions@jetconvert.com  then click Next. 
   
4. Permissions:
   
1. Select Payroll Admin if there is payroll to convert (Australia only).
   
2. Business and Accounting - Advisor
   
3. Bank account admin
   
4. Manage Users.
5. Click Send Invite.
